Hotel Engadina - Como

Stayed for two nights in October. The staff were helpful and attentive, even giving us maps to navigate Como's best sights. The room was clean and had great air conditioning-perfect after a day out exploring! Breakfast was a cozy continental affair with fresh pastries and coffee served right at the table. And the location! A 10-minute walk to the ferry and downtown. A Carrefour supermarket nearby for quick snacks.

Shower was tiny.

Smooth check-in and late check-out, parking on-site. Rich breakfast selection with cheese, croissant, Cappuccino. Location close enough to the lake and the touristic area of the town, and town centre easy walking distance.

It was modern, spotless and with comfy beds.

It's a small but cozy hotel, as can be expected from 3 stars. The staff was very friendly and the free parking is a nice surplus. We had two rooms: the standard double room had limited size and small bathroom (hey, it's only 3 stars), the more expensive one (120 vs. 100 euro/night) is larger with good big-sized bathroom. The hotel is basically situated in a the lesser touristic area, but Como is not big and it only takes 10min walk to reach the 'better' areas.

The bathroom in the standard double room is small; with its door open there is no space to turn, except in the small shower.

A comfortable stay, with pleasant staff making the experience enjoyable. The location is convenient, just a short walk to the train station and ferry terminal. The air conditioning in the room was underwhelming, providing inadequate cooling, but the basic breakfast was decent, with good coffee and homemade marmalade as a nice touch. I encountered some noise, but overall, it offered good value for the price paid.

Close to the PIazza Duomo but on main road. Single room clean and basic. Breakfast served to your table and plentiful and tasty. Parking around the back on the sideroad.

Proximity to the old town and stations (boat and train). Warm welcome on reception. Efficient double glazing and air conditioning - I was worried about the noise from the road at first, but with the windows shut and the aircon on, it was fine. We had a room with a small balcony, overlooking a mountain. Continental breakfast was good, and although the hotel appeared to be full, there was no noise from other rooms/guests.

Consider exploring local eateries nearby for authentic cuisine, as the hotel's breakfast offerings could be improved.

Great location near the train station, easy to find and close to the ferry terminal. The cleanliness of my room stood out. It was super clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and eager to assist, providing helpful maps for local attractions. The shower was quite small, made getting ready a bit of a squeeze. The mattress could use updating for better comfort. Breakfast offered a basic continental selection but could benefit from more variety. No coffee or tea-making facilities in the room, which I found disappointing.

Simple and clean, decent location.

It is 15 min walk (with a luggage) from the train station Como StGiovanni and close to the centre of Como. I liked all in the hotel even the small breakfast. Мне всё понравилось, даже скромный завтрак. l'albergo si trova a 15 min a piedi (con bagaglio) dalla stazione ferrovia Como StGiovanni e vicino al centro della citta Como. Mi e' piaciuto tutto anche un colazione piccolo.

Excellent location close to the waterfront and only about five minutes walk from the old city center and Duomo with free parking in front of hotel. Clean, quiet room and very helpful staff.
